Frequently asked
The honest version. If your question isn't here, get in touch — we'd rather over-explain than leave you guessing.
The basics
We source from retail liquidation channels — overstock that never sold, customer returns, open-box units, and shelf-pulls. These are products from major retailers that got rerouted out of the normal retail cycle. We inspect and grade every item before listing.
No. Many items arrive in perfect working order. We only repair an item when the fix is economical — meaning the cost of the part is justified by the grade improvement and the margin. When we do fix something, the listing says what was replaced and why. Items we can't or don't repair get graded as-is, with full disclosure.
Condition & grading
Every listing includes a grade (A+ through D) and a condition report written during our hands-on inspection. The condition report names specific flaws, missing accessories, cosmetic issues, and functional notes. Photos show the actual unit, including any damage. Between the grade, the report, and the photos, you'll know what's arriving before you order.
Yes. We power on electronics, check ports and buttons, test mechanical action, and factory-reset devices with software. If an item is untested or sold for parts, the listing will say so clearly.
Buying, shipping & pickup
We don't operate a retail storefront. We're a digital-first operation — the condition report and photos are how you evaluate the item. For large freight items, local B2B pickup is available by appointment.
Nationwide shipping on most items. Small to medium items ship via standard carriers (Tier 1). Items over 70 lbs — water heaters, heavy equipment, large appliances — ship via freight with a dedicated quote (Tier 2). For bulk freight buyers in Indiana, we offer local B2B pickup to avoid the freight markup.
Returns & the fine print
All sales are final at the prices we offer. If an item arrives in a condition significantly different from what the listing described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we'll make it right. Grade D items (for parts/repair) are sold strictly as-is with no exceptions.
We collect 7% Indiana sales tax on orders shipped to Indiana addresses. Out-of-state orders do not currently have sales tax applied. Tax-exempt buyers (Indiana businesses, resellers) can submit a completed ST-105 at checkout.
